Abstract:

The review of the monograph by Professor Ruben Amayakovich Kalamkaryan "Codification of International Law and the Modern World Order" contains positive impressions of this book. It is logical to conclude that the author, at least, managed to generalize material on the "old" and new approaches to the concepts of "codification," "Rule of Law" at a high professional level; analyze the systemic characteristics of the development of codification, especially the second half of the twentieth century, compare the features of conferences on the codification of norms of international law and order of different historical eras; pay attention to the significant points of the problems of codification of international law at the present stage.
