Abstract:

The article reveals the basis for the systematization of the norms governing sports in the European Space, which are: A) Legal Acts of the Council of Europe; B) European Acts of Lex Sportiva. Consolidates the said Acts of the Expanded Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS). In addition, the author pointed to other European mechanisms that have made a significant contribution to the regulatory support of sports: the SPRINT program; European Sports Non-Governmental Organization; European Sports Movement; European Olympic Committees. Summary of the article: the codification of sports in Europe should logically be embodied in a single European Sports Code. Promoting pan-European values through sport is the key to their successful integration into the daily life of European society.
