Abstract:

The article is devoted to the problems of determining territories and borders. The author analyses State territory, territory with an international regime and territory with a mixed regime. In addition, attention was paid to territorial disputes. The conclusion concluded that the modern problems of the status of territories are, in particular, the provisions of "Joint commons = common space" (space, Arctic, cyberspace), boundary definitions (delimitation-demarcation-redemarcation-rectification), the consequences of the exchange of territories, offshore zones, etc.
