Abstract:

The article analyzes the new CoE Convention in the field of sports, the purpose of which is to combat the manipulation of sports competitions to protect fair conduct in sports and sports ethics in accordance with the principle of autonomy of sports. The author concludes that this act claims (after entry into force) to regulate the most acute issues of offences in the field of sports, involving close interaction between both international and national law enforcement agencies and sports actors.
