Abstract:

The article analyzes the contribution of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to the development of the international air law industry. The author describes the ICAO toolkit: the Convention on International Civil Aviation, the International Standards and Recommended Practices of ICAO, the Rules for Air Navigation Services, as well as the ICAO Guidelines, the ICAO Circulars and the ICAO Guidance Materials. In addition, the article emphasizes that ICAO seeks to realize its conceptual vision for the safe and sustainable development of civil aviation, relying on cooperation between its member states.
