Abstract:

The article is devoted to the branches of international law in their genesis and development. The author emphasized the criteria for the allocation of new industries based on the work of the UN International Law Commission, the opinions of leading international lawyers. It was concluded that there are branches of international law "international air law," "international humanitarian law," "law of foreign relations," "international human rights law," "international space law," "international law of treaties," "international law of the sea"); industries in the formation stage ("international legal personality of the state," "law of international peace and international security," "international succession," "law of international judicial institutions") and promising areas of cooperation on the basis of international acts ("international criminal law," "international energy law," "international nuclear law," "international information law," "international environmental law").
