The article reaffirms the position of the United Nations, which, in the preamble to the Convention against Corruption, states that "corruption is no longer a local problem, but has become a transnational phenomenon that affects the society and economy of all countries, which makes international cooperation in preventing and combating corruption essential..." The final conclusion of the article: the international fight against corruption as a complex phenomenon is a long-term effort that is constantly reviewed under the supervision of international actors and focuses on national legislation.
