To the Question of the System of Crimes in International Law

Резюме:

The article notes the position of the United Nations, which recognizes the need for closer coordination and cooperation among States in addressing the world problem of crime, given that combating it is a common and joint responsibility. The author gives classifications of crimes under international law, namely, crimes against peace, war crimes, genocide, apartheid, slavery, international terrorism, illicit trafficking in nuclear material, piracy, smuggling, legalization of criminal proceeds, distribution of drug addiction and pornography, crimes on the continental shelf, corruption. The author concludes that a crime in international law is an act that violates the international legal order, the wrongfulness of which and the responsibility for which is established in international criminal law.
